Guest Speaker: Edward A. Turzanski
Edward A. Turzanski has been a practitioner, researcher and historian in the fields of Intelligence, Espionage and Foreign Policy for nearly four decades.
Mr. Turzanski is a “Life Member” of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, having served with the U.S. Intelligence Community during the Reagan Administration with postings throughout the Middle East Central Asia and Eastern Europe. During the George W. Bush Administration, he served on the U.S. Department of Justice’s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Committee (ATAC) for the Third District, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Port Security Committee for Philadelphia. He is a Life Member of: the Naval War College Foundation, the National Association of Scholars, the National Rifle Association, and the Polish Police Association of Philadelphia. Mr. Turzanski is a Member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Advisory Board; a Richard M. Weaver Fellow of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute; and recipient of the 2013 President’s Award and Life Member of the Union League of Philadelphia. Since 2001, he has been a Senior Fellow with the Foreign Policy Research Institute.
Mr. Turzanski also has extensive senior experience in the health care field. He is Chairman of the Jefferson Health Northeast Division and Jefferson Health Northeast Foundation Boards of Directors; Member of the Thomas Jefferson University Academic Board and the Thomas Jefferson Health System Governance and Nominating, Finance and Strategic Planning Board Committees. Mr. Turzanski is also Senior Advisor to the President of Jefferson Health and Vice President for Government and Veterans Affairs for Jefferson Health.
His commentary on National Security, Intelligence, Political and Diplomatic affairs is regularly heard over more than four-dozen media outlets across North America and on the BBC’s World Service, CBC and CTV News in Canada, Fox News Channel and National Public Radio.
